PETROLOGY Sp. z o.o.

Since many years the world is continually haunted by energy crisis. Nearly all known energy resources, including fossils and renewables are well penetrated and - mostly - depleted. Any new, easily accessible and abundant energy resource would become a treasure on the market. Looking for such hidden gems a good way was to consider possible big deposits of hydrocarbons in the life cycle streams of materials used by todayʼs society - waste plastics (polymers).

Increasing technological share of polymers and production of disposable plastic products and packagings generate growing volume of hydrocarbon based waste. Plastic refuse amounts in european countries to millions of tons per year, becoming one of the most important environmental burden. On the other hand we encounter peaking energy demand and pricing, leading to the begin of so called Peak Oil decade.

The request for new sources of energy (stable, cheap, and easy to estimate, common) led to unprecedented solution of to be implemented by PETROLOGY, which converts plastic waste flawlessly into fuel components and electrical energy. The PETROLOGY ‘s method allows for rapid exploration of billions of kilowatts of energy frozen uselessly in plastics waste around the globe.
